ANNA LEA
I’ve been making music since I was a very small child. Trust me. I have embarrassing journals to prove it. Chords and melodies to boot. It’s safe to say that music is an incredibly important part of my life. It helps me process my emotions when traumatic things happen. It helps me feel understood, even when it’s just my own brain. And when I share those songs with the world, it makes other people feel understood in the way I needed to be at the time, and that’s a truly magical thing.
I have always struggled to call myself a singer or a musician.
ENTER EPIC THE MUSICAL (Stage Right).
Through EPIC, my love for music and performing was enhanced and my trust in myself and the talent that I have was, in a sense, proven. It hadn’t been since I was a much younger child that I had considered making music a career, and EPIC gave me that shove.
This isn’t to say that music is the only thing I do, I’m not sure it will ever be, but the support I received through EPIC the musical and the way other people feel about my voice has been more than enough to make me want to pursue this again. You’ve all given me back the passion and for that, I am forever thankful.
Something tells me it’s going to be EPIC.
